South African-born Roberto joined Rowberrys Solicitors as a paralegal in February 2021. Having attended the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 2015, he triple majored in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Law, International Relations and Portuguese. From there, he continued his studies and successfully completed a Postgraduate Honours degree in Portuguese in 2019, while simultaneously furthering his legal education and graduating with an LLB degree in 2020. Roberto also has a Masters Degree in Portuguese (2022).
Roberto is working towards becoming a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and is currently completing the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations.
Whilst he progresses towards qualification, Roberto is working as a Paralegal at Rowberrys Solicitors. As a Paralegal, Roberto has spent time working alongside Stirling Halliday and his team in the Residential and Commercial Conveyancing Department, and now works within Nilu Bhatti’s Family and Litigation Department providing administrative and legal support in matrimonial, contentious probate, and litigious matters.
Roberto is an invaluable member of the Rowberrys family and is known to both colleagues and clients for his friendly, well-mannered and highly professional approach.
In his spare time, Roberto enjoys spending time with his family, be that in the UK, Portugal, or South Africa, and as a hobby he enjoys singing at family and corporate events.
